Edna, I would like to really thank you for your generous gift. The tutorial was splendid, very informative.
You look fantastic. I actually made a nail appointment after work today. I took them off last week because it was hard for me to work on a cake, but now, seeing yours, i want them back.

Thank you again for being so generous with your knowledge.

Edna, THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for showing me a much better way to make calla lilies. The way I was taught, the petal would never stick to the stamen and would always slide down the wire...I refused to make them again after trying and trying. Now, I can't wait to give it a try again, and this time I know they'll come out perfectly.

Oh, please do more videos, you are a very, very good teacher. I only wish I could be in your Wilton classes.

OMG.. I am overwhelmed with the response..Well for those who ask if I am a model...no I am not.. icon_lol.gif I am 40 years old..not sure about a 40 year old model.. icon_lol.gif.
I dont look nervous but I am not smiling a lot..And I love to smile..but then again I am a teacher so it helps..I do hate cameras.. icon_lol.gif
Aine...you are my U tube video hero..Im so glad you like it..

My accent..I still hate..But gotta live with what God gave me..
About the breathing..Well..I'll keep it in mind...Although I am thinking there might be a few pervs in You tube that might like it..

I am thinking on doing a few more tutorials for you guys..so stick around cause I want to answer a lot of questions people have in here of very basic stuff..
People in CC are so wonderful...I love to teach what I know cause it was hard for me to get all this information when I was learning. So if I have it ...why not share it..

By the way..my nails grow so fast that I have no choice..I deal with them...Lots of people ask me how can I work with long nails..well I have no idea.. But as you see the amount of cakes I do, I have no problems with them.. icon_lol.gif

I might be slow..doing more tutorials, but I promise more..I do weddings for a living..so I have to do this on my off time..

Thanks..Thanks ..for the wonderful response..

Edna, thank you SO much for sharing this fantastic video! I was especially impressed by the way you used graphics to highlight key steps in the process - I'm only 1/2way thru the 2nd video in the series but I already feel like I can remember everything you're teaching because of the graphics. I can't wait to see the next, oh, 50 or so videos you make...right?!

Thanks, Edna. Calla lillies were my wedding flowers, from the invitations to my bouquet, to my cake (NOT made by me!) I have been wanting to make them for so long, but they looked so hard to do. Now that I have seen you do it, I am definitely going to give them a try. Thanks, again!

I have a question...
where do you get the powdered colors...my local store here in ontario (michaels) doesn't have it, only '', or petal dust in white, gold silver or pearl.... can you use the paste, diluted, and get the same effect...???

Michaels don't carry luster dust or petal dust..The cake stores do!..If you dont have a cake store in your town check in the internet. Im adding a link for the luster dust.

Now remember...there are luster dust... petal dust and shimmer dust..

YAY! Now I have a visual to put with the explanation you'd given me in the past! I never could find those pesky cone cups at Wally World icon_confused.gif (Walmart) but now know where I need to go thumbs_up.gif .

Also, I bought some calla cutters, but like your way SOOOO much better - especially after seeing your tutorial - that I think I just might chuck 'em!

I love it! The video was very easy to understand, nicely put together and, oh yeah, LOVE the nails! I have nails and have often thought that I needed to cut them in order to make cakes, but you've shown me the light...THEY'RE STAYING! icon_lol.gif THANK YOU!!!!

Last note...You are gorgeous and your accent is lovely! I would definitely be weary of those pervs on Youtube. icon_lol.gif
