Can this be done. The only pictures that I've seen with a fondant pearl border is fondant cakes. If this is possible do the fondant balls stay fairly easy or will they roll off. Also I bought the vanilla satin ice for this. How soon can I make them if I do this. The wedding is June 28th. Any pictures of this??? I can't seem to find any but I may be searching using the wrong keywords.

I do this ALL the time. You can definitely make the pearls ahead of time. I have found that if I roll out the fondant and then use either one of the larger round piping tips or the backside of a tip to cut a lot of circles and them roll them they are much more uniform. If your bc is very well crusted then they may roll a little but you can just pipe a tiny bit of bc on and then stick the pearls on. There are pics in my photos. I think the valentine cake is the only one with pearl border that is covered in fondant. Good luck!!
