Hello there,

I was wondering how do I - transfer an image from paper to cake. THe cake is a sheet cake covered with white royal icing. I would certainly appreciate a speedy reply.

I mirror the image and then put a piece of parchment paper on top of it and trace it with piping gel. when done, I put it gel side down on the cake and lightly go over it with a paint brush. hope this helps icon_smile.gif

You can also make a frozen buttercream transfer or a chocolate transfer. For either you need to reverse the image. http://us.1.p4.geocities.com/heathers_cakes2000/chocolatedemo.html?1109787013625

Hi, when I want to transfer a picture on to a cake, I trace the picture on a rice paper with an edible pen. Then I stick on the cake with a tiny bit of bc, not too much because the rice paper might desolve quickly. And then fill it up with bc or with fondant cut outs. I did the Power Ranger cake in my photos, using this method.
