I am making mini cakes for a bridal shower and I want to cover them with a chocolate coating/ganache but I want it to have a "matte" finish when it cools and sets. Every time I make a ganache it is shiny and it stays "sticky".

Does anyone out there know what I mean and can help with a recipe?

Thanks to all.

Have you tried using a spreadable ganach instead of a poured ganach? I find that when my (spreadable) ganach gets mixed after it cools, it gets even harder, and will end up with a matte finish, but I'm not sure if that's only with this recipe...
