Whenever I write on a cake with the BC dream recipe it doesn't turn out smooth and thick-it's kind of loose and bubbly looking-anybody have any
idea why this happens? Should I use a different recipe for writing?

Try adding a small amount of piping gel. (1/4 teaspoon per cup of icing)

Hmm...I've never had a problem with it. I use it all the time.....Are you making the frosting pretty thin? Mine is usually medium consistency and it works well...
