Hi! I'm a novice baker and cake decorator. I want to start a business selling cakes here. But since there are already a lot of talented cake decorators, I'm thinking of importing stuff and supplying to them instead.

Since practically everyone likes chocolates, I'm planning to start selling good quality chocolates and cocoa powder here. A popular brand of dutch cocoa here is bensdorp, that sell about $6.00 per kilo. any alternative brand that I can get to sell here?

Thanks!

My first question was "where are you?" What sells and doesn't will depend very much on your location and customer base. If there are other decorators that you are friendly with, ask! See what they would love to be able to buy locally and go from there. Then think about whether or not that is a long enough list to fill a shop and pay the bills!
Good luck!
