Hello-
I'm going to make some sugar cookies and I want to put them on a stick. My question is when do you put the stick on? Before or after baking? I've made the cookies before but never on a stick.

You can do it both ways. I usually do it before, but you can fit more cookies on the pan if you do it after. You just put the stick in immediately when they come out of the oven and just leave it until they cool. It stays in just fine.

I like to bake them with the stick. I think I would break them if I handled them while hot.
