Will fondant flowers and butterflies on top of a cake hold up at an outdoor shower? Should I better make them from gumpaste - which I don't really know how to use...?
Thanks for any advice.

I would use gumpaste and make sure they are dry before you take the cake outside. I would be afraid that the fondant would soften too much in the heat.
