Rainy & Hot Will My Cake Hold Up Out Of Fridge Or Freeze

Ok, if it is rainy and hot and HUMID like they say it will be tomorrow, can I keep the cakes in the fridge until time to put them in a car for a 45 min ride? Will they sweat? Will the icing slip off of the cake?
