Stencil????

A fellow cake decorator told me that she uses stencil to make logos on her cakes.

1st what is stencil?
2nd How do you do it?

Can someone please tell me?

A stencil is a pattern cut out of plastic. There are many available at the website culinarystencils.com

Depending on the icing, you can transfer the pattern using petal dusts, royal icing, buttercream, powdered sugar, and airbrushing, and more.
