Number Cake Help

I need some ideas and help on how to make 08 number cake for a my nephew's graduation icon_smile.gif

You can make a sheet cake and "cut out" an 08 and frost and decorate. I think that would be the easiest way to go.! Good luck !!!

I used the diagram recently - with a 10oz can instead - it wasn't that difficult.

Did u not want to use a number pan? i find it's very neat, no need to cut up cakes, no wastages.
I hire number pans from my nearest cake store and use fondant to cover, pipe shells around the edges and stick on child's favorite xters(Pooh,batman,tweenies etc).. Let's know how you got along..all the best
