Hi, I'm needing to collect ideas to bake a 3-4 tier Quinceanera Cake for my counsin. I have some time to try some ideas, party is until Jul 26th. I have never done tier cakes and I'm not sure where to start. If anyone has any good ideas on cake or filling recipes I would love to read about them. Any help is welcome as this is my 1st time attempting to make a cake this big.

I wasn't sure you were asking about putting together a tier cake or just recipes.

If doing a stacked or pillared cake, it doesnt' matter what recipe you use because the cake isn't supporting the other cakes ... the cakes are supported by your support system. The cake recipe may make an impact if you are doing BC or fondant, though.
