Is piping Gel edible??? It looks and smells gross, but I need to make a swimming pool cake or luah cake this weekend and didn't know what to use for the water. I thought about one of those on the go gel-0 packs. Which one would last better in the heat???? It's for an outside pool party with a luah theme.

Please advise!

Piping gel is edible. It will probably hold up better in the heat than Jell-O.

The Jell-O would probably taste alot better, but the gel is edible.

piping gel really is gross.

I once used karo syrup on top of my icing to give the water a shiny look.
