I have never faced this problem before; because I have never frozen decorated cookies before; but a lady wants me to make 7 dozen decorated cookies and bag them in plastic bags individually and place in a box to freeze. Is this possible without damaging the icing on the cookies? What about condensation happening in the thawing process.

Has anybody every done this?

Please help this is urgent as she wants them in the next few days.

Yes, they can be easily frozen. Once they are bagged, they need to be packaged in some way (containers or another bag). Thaw them over night IN the second container. Any condensation will form on the outside of the bag, not on the cookie.

Thank you JoAnn B
I appreciate your response. It is good to know that the condensation won't form on the cookie.
