Sugarshack Icing With A Hand Mixer?

I know this sounds crazy................but I am away from home without my kitchenaid 6 qt stand mixer....no stand mixer available..............can I somehow take portions of the recipe and mix with a hand mixer?????????

Just asking. Thanks for your advice.

OK, I guess this was one of those questions that was way to crazy... I got some views but no replies. I was just trying to figure out if there was a way for me to maybe due the recipe in portions then combine it all to get the air out...its just such a great recipe I was trying to do it while visiting with friends.

I've made sugarshacks recipe and always use a handmixer. For me though I cut the recipe in half.

Thanks for your reply. So just to make sure I understand....you just add 1/2 of the recipe requirements and mix everything at one time with your hand mixer?
