I would like to make the waterslide cake that is made from the horse shoe pan for my family reunion. We have it at a waterslide park every year and I thought that the kids would just love it, but I can't find the horse shoe pan anywhere! Any suggestions on what to do or how to carve another size sheet cake to scale? I need to bake tonight, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You can go to the galleries on CC and type in horse shoe and you will find some pictures of the horse shoe cakes using that pan. My suggestion is to print one of the pictures out and trace the shape of the cake and then use a copy machine to scale it to the size you need. Once you do that you would cut out the shape and put in on top of your sheet cake and use that to trim the cake to the shape of your template.
