to an iced board?
The icing keeps moving when i try to transfer.
Wedge a long spatula under the cake board, lift it up, slip your hand underneath, and pick up the cake.
You could also let it sit awhile to allow the fondant to firm up before moving it.
You DO have your fondant-covered cake on a cardboard cake circle or foamcore round, right?
No i wasnt aware that i had to, ive always just had it on a glass tray before putting the spatula under the cake itsself when transfering- it makes sence that i should put a board under as well - thanks. thats really helpfull.
