I've never made decorated sugar cookies with royal icing before and I was wondering if I can bake the cookies then freeze them and then when I need them 2 weeks later...Can I decorate them?

Yup..I bake and freeze all the time!!!They are actually better once frozen because they seem to harden enough to not break but not be so hard once they thaw.Easier to handle also!!

Thanks for your reply, glad to hear I can freeze them. I'd like to try and make a cookie bouquet for my kids teachers.
