I bought Tappit alphabet cutters, and, well, it's not what I expected ('though I'm not sure what I expected icon_smile.gif )
How do you get them out w/o distorting them?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

these work best with gumpaste but will work with fondant too.

What you need to do, is roll the paste very thin. Then let the paste set up some, it should be fairly dry to the touch, but not hard. Lightly grease the tappit, then press into the paste and move around on the cutting surface so that you get a nice clean edge. When you pick up the cutter, the paste will be stuck in the cutter (this is good) whack the cutter on the side of the table and the paste should fall out, if it doesn't you might have to finesse it a bit. Keep playing with these cutters they are worth the effort.

Thanks, peg! I appreciate the help - I love the look of them, but got concerned once I opened the box and saw what they looked like!
