On Saturday, I delivered my sister's 30th birthday cake via.........
1. Train - 30 mins
2. Tube/underground/metro - 10 mins
3. Bus - 10 mins

My arms ached from holding it so carefully!! But it made it there in one piece. So it got me thinking, what is the strangest delivery method/ journey you have made (or your cake....... I had a wedding cake travel to Wales in a cake box, with 2 plastic trays wrapped round it, then belted into the front seat of the car, I did say footwell is best but hey ho)

mine was this weekend in between rain storms 4 wheeling over a field to get to a tent, the farm that the wedding was on was only about 15 minutes from my house, but it was some of the worse delivery conditions i have ever hit. The road leading to the tent was literally a mowed path in the middle of the field, Up a hugh hill and then down again till i got there. Then the table was 1/2 sunk in the ground so i have to level it up before leaving the cake.

No sooner got home then the sky opened up again, i really hope that everyone was okay there cause that was the worse thunderstorm we have had all year.
