Lemon Filling Recipe-Need Today!!

I would love to make a lemon curd filling for a wedding cake but I would rather not have to worry about refridgeration. Can anybody help me out? Are there any close substitutions to lemon curd that I can use? I have to have a cake ready for the tasting today and I don't want to let the bride try something that isn't suitable.
