Does anyone have a reason why either size pan would be better to purchase?....besides the one inch difference. I am buying the hexagon shape fat daddio cake pan and am unsure if I should purchase the 2" or the 3" for a bit more.

Thanks

Personally, I would choose a 3" set if I were getting new ones...mainly because you can always bake a 2" cake in a 3" pan....but IF you were to need a 3" cake??? I think the 3" ones can be used in more ways.
