I'm just curious.... I was wondering if it's possible to cover an ice cream Cake with Choco Modeling fondant ? If you can .... how would it be with ice cream?

Someone was asking about a tree stump but wants also ice cream as the cake .

Can someone help with this ?

I make an icecream cake that is surrounded with ice cream sandwiches. Use a spring form pan, crushed chocolate cookies for the crust, then cut ice cream sandwiches in half lengthwise and then in half crosswise, you end up with four from each sandwich. then stand them on end around outside edge, it would be cookie, icecream, cookie, cookie, icecream etc. That may hold up to being covered with fondant.

I made this ice cream cake so many times last summer, there are just endless combinations you can do. For the fourth of july I did strawberry, blueberry and vanilla it was a big hit. It stays good for a long time wrapped in press and seal in the freezer. Enjoy
