Sorry for seaming so stupid. What ia a throwdown? I kinda get that it is a compitition. But how does it work and who is competing? Do people just decide that they want to throw it down with someone and say it's on. Or are the contestants selected somehow?

You pick someone to throwdown with. They have to be in your same skill level, so it is an evenly matched competition. The two competitors pick a theme and then they have so many weeks to make a cake fitting that theme. The cakes are posted and people vote. It looks like fun to me! There was a thread on it. If I find it, I will link to it!

Oh and CC user, Teekakes has made up the rules, I believe.
