Need Help, Ran Out Of Crisco!

I am in the process of decorating a cake and ran out of Crisco! I still have a few clouds that I have to do. Is there any kind of icing I can make without Crisco? I am also out of eggs and don't use the meringe. I do have some regular Cool Whip, I was wondering if if I could add something to that to help it keep it's shape while on the table for the party? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Do you have eggs and granulated sugar? You can make a Swiss or Italian meringue buttercream.

You don't need the orange extract - just use the vanilla.

Do you have butter, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla?

This recipe crusts EXTREMELY well!

Whip it for about 5 minutes and it will be practically white. Add the tiniest bit of violet and, voila! White. icon_smile.gif

I'd say the cool whip b/c I can't think of anything else that doesn't use Crisco or eggs that will still be white.

You can add powdered sugar to it and that should stiffen it up. maybe a pudding mix and some milk.
