What do you think about it? Is it a good recipe? I am searching for a great yellow cake recipe. I tried the WBH but it is too crumble..... PLease help
Yes. I have made it twice now and think it's fantastic. Anytime I need a yellow butter cake I will use this from now one.

I have used it and loved it all by itself. I only used it once for a cake with filling and buttercream and thought it was too heavy for it. Maybe I just got used to eating it plain. Of course I didn't use any simple syrup, like the book indicates and it was a long time ago. I've just been too scared to try it again.
