I'm thinking of making a 3 tiered round wedding cake that has white chocolate shavings all over that look like coconut. What do you all think? I've looked for photos but haven't found what I'm dreaming of. Any ideas on how to make the shavings? Applying them to the sides? Maybe the top of the tiers could be chocolate curls?

Grate the choc on your box grater.... the small holes that are round.

BC your cake and use a flat spatula to 'pick up' the shavings and press them to the sides. If you use your hands they'll melt.
