I wanted to make the Duff-style roses that I had seen posted before. There were pictures in the gallery, which I added to my favs, and I can't find now, and there was a post on it too. It was a black background with white fondant in the pictures. Does anyone remember this and how to do it? I tried to do what I thought it said but icon_cry.gif it didn't work out.

Thanks in advance gals icon_smile.gif

Cut out three circles, overlap them, roll up and then cut in half. It will make 2 roses. HTH

that is so easy and the best part is that you get two at a time

You know I love his roses... but it is sooo fun to create "new" flowers.. just play around with the medium you are working with (gp or fondant or mix) icon_wink.gif Who says we have to make roses, carnations or whatever.. I love making different things.. my version of fantasy (true fantasy for me LOL) flowers icon_smile.gif

fFollowing wgoat5 on different flowers...does anyone know how to make a Camelia (Camellia)? Doing a graduation cake for my nephew, and his girlfriend's name is Camille. Wanted to add one at the top as a nod to her, but can't find anything.

In real photos it looks like a wild rose...

Any ideas - thanks all.
