Looking to hear from the cake central family...have a big grad cake coming up and was wondering how you made your mortarboards for the grad cap? I really want it to be EDIBLE and was looking for ideas and or pics. Thanks so much!!!!
I used graham crackers stuck together with royal icing, then I covered that in a thin layer of buttercream and wrapped it in black fondant.
I roll them out in gum paste and let them dry for about 4 days...works great!
