I am somewhat new at this and am wondering if someone can help. I need just a small amount of black buttercream for my next project. I know that I need to use a bit of chocolate buttercream to make black. Does anyone have any suggestions for transforming a small amount of buttercream into chocolate and from there black?
Thanks in advance!

u can just add cocoa powder, but you not NEED to make it choc first. I add black color to white BC all the time.

I swear by Americolor's Super Black gel paste. It is awesome and makes a nice dark shade of black directly from white icing (no need to start w/chocolate first).
