I haven't been able to find an answer in the forums for this one.
I need to use a dummy for the bottom tier of a whimsical cake and will be covering with IMBC. I plan to cut out the center for the next tier. Do I need to do anything to prevent the foam from getting in contact with the second layer? Can I still put a dowell thru the entire cake without worrying about the foam on the bottom layer when the dowell is pulled out?
Thanks for your help.
