Keeping Choc Chips Afloat

I was wondering if anyone knows how to keeps choc chips from settling into the bottom of the pan when making a cake

You may want to toss your chips w/ some flour. Then mix all your usual ingredients first and stir in the chocolate chips just prior to baking.

Adding pudding to your mix will also help suspend your chips. HTH! icon_smile.gif

When I add chocolate chips to cake batter I have better luck with them not settling if I use the "mini" chocolate chips.

This is what I've heard, too. I haven't tried it yet myself, but others swear by it.
