Hi everyone,

I did my crumb coat on a cake this morning, but when I was putting it on the cake, I could tell it was too wet, but continued anyway figuring it would just take longer to dry.

It is taking way longer than I had anticipated.

Will a too wet buttercream eventually dry?

It finally dried and I was able to put on the final layer of BC. It just took forever.

Thanks for the advice though.
