What is the best way to slice one of these cakes. I'm making one for a graduation and realized it will be hard to cut. Any rules of thumb?

Meant to say I have never made a topsy turvy so not best qualified to say but I would guess you would separate the tiers before cutting. I would also think that you would size the cake slices according to height so that each guest gets approximately the same amount of cake.
yes a mad hatter cake. I just wonder how to serve it because one side is so high and the other is so short.
