Canada Cake Supplies/satin Ice Fondant Supplier
Decorating By bakerfairy Updated 2 Aug 2010 , 5:41pm by pmarks0
Does anybody know where I can order cake decorating supplies in or around Manitoba, Canada? Or does anybody know suppliers that will ship to Canada for a reasonable price? I am considering purchasing Satin Ice fondant as well and was wondering if anybody knew of a supplier in Canada with fair pricing. Thanks in advance!
. . . LaGaterie inc. out of Quebec will ship (reasonably/but don't remember how much) . . . http://satinice.ca/
Have you tried Evelyns? It's on St James st. It's in a little strip mall there, right around the train tracks. Or there is Belle Cakes and Candy. Charlene and I were in high school together. She owns the place. Her shop is out past St. Vital Centre on St. Mary's Ave. Other than that, there are the Michaels' stores.

Oh...and for internet orders....http://www.goldaskitchen.com/wilton.ihtml
Try http://www.goldaskitchen.com/
They just started carrying Satin Ice and they have a good selection off other cake decorating supplies as well!
I don't know about shipping prices but I know that www.intotheoven.com and www.globalsugararts.com will both ship to Canada.
Yup...Everyone has pretty much given you the places to order from...McCalls out of Toronto aslo ships!!...otherwise it is online through the US or Ebay.
definately try Evelyns - they have a lot of stuff quite expensive though. she also teaches classes if you are interested in that.
I LOVE www.intotheoven.com I ordered all of my Magic Line pans from them, pearls mold and creme bouquet. Great prices, reasonable shipping but depending on the way you ship may have to pay $40 customs brokerage charge (still way way inexpensive)
I have been looking for bakery crafts SPS - Oasis supply has them but they also have a min $250 international order. Global Sugar Art seems expensive...
Not that I know of..I ordered mine from Bakerycrafts..Prices were good but shipping was high.
Flour Confections in Pickering carries Satin Ice and has a good online store.
