Does Anyone Have This Cake Saved?
Decorating By thedessertdiva Updated 22 May 2008 , 8:49pm by thedessertdiva
A while back (a whiiiiiiiiiile, back) there was a great cake posted. It was 4 or 5 tiers, square and a gradiant of pinks, purple, blue and such from the top tier down, covered in swiss dots.
I thought I saved it as a fav or saved it in my personal file collection, but I cant find it anywhere. If someone recognizes the cake I am taliing about, c n you post or pm me the link?
Thanks!
did you check under square wedding cakes? maybe do a search for those colors or something. It sounds really pretty! Please post if you find it!
Is this the one you're talking about?

No, although that one is really nice...
The one I remember is more on the pastel side maybe...softer colors, and square. I know its square.
I tried searching by square, pink, purple, blue, swiss dot...nothing...and I KNOW I've seen it...lol.
Dont you hate that?
THIS one that was just put on the home page ?

Suze
Tutugirls photos are the closest so far in the gradient type...subtle soft flow from one color to the next...
Thank you all for helping me look...
It will rear its beautiful head sooner or later...
I don't think any of these are it but they might offer some inspiration!

Thank you all so very much for your help. I will save all these pictures and use them all as inspiration.
The story behind the mad search is my sister is getting married in August. This is her 2nd marriage, but her first true love. She is asking for a 1940's Santa Barbara style wedding cake, not to art, not to deco in this color format...
So I figured she's like the sunset style, gradient color scheme...artsy swiss dots or corneli lace effect.
All the photos that you all posted will be more then enough for me to figure this one out.
Thank you!!!
