Hi everyone, just a quick line could you tell me what sanding sugar is? I've never heard of this in England.

It's a coarse ground sugar that you can find in different colors. When you sprinkle it on things, the effect is kind of "sparkly" icon_smile.gif I find it in my local cake decorating store, but I've also seen it on the internet.

Its a very coarse sugar used to decorate cookies, usually.
