I thought I saw a thread here recently about where to buy gumpaste figures - ones that have already been made, I mean. I know, I know, it's the lazy way out but I have this really challenging cake due soon and if I didn't have to make the gum paste figure myself it would save me a lot of time. Anybody know where I might be able to get such a thing?

FYI: Most figures are made out of fondant as gumpaste dries to quickly to properly mold.

Can you maybe solicit someone on the site who lives close to you to make one for you?
