Hello all! My wonderful husband bought me Toba Garrett's The Well Decorated Cake and her Professional Cake Decorating books for Mother's Day. I'm very excited to try her recipes, but cannot find if IMBC and SMBC need to be refrigerated. Could someone please tell me if it is necessary to keep a cake that is iced with either of these 2 recipes refrigerated or how long it is safe for them to be left out before serving? Thanks so much, sorry this is a little long.
I never refrigerate it. In fact, it will taste better if at room temperature (less like butter).
