I made fondant with the Rhonda MMF (Kudo's to you thanks) I am doing something wrong. The problem I am having is that when it is time to roll it out it just seems like it gets dry so quick and then it cracks on me. It just doesn't seem plyable enough for me. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong.

Thanks

Most recipes do not require all the powdered sugar listed in the recipe. It sounds like it is just too dry.

You can knead it with damp/wet hands to add some moisture OR
You can knead in a bit of shortening to soften it.

Yeah, I agree with JoAnnB. I use shortening all the time. icon_smile.gificon_smile.gif
