Help Ordering For A Tiered Wedding Cake
Decorating By kymscakes Updated 20 May 2008 , 3:26pm by leah_s
I have to order the supplies for a cake, I believe it will be about 4 tiers, and they need space in between each tier for fresh flowers. If anyone could recommend where to purchase from, I prefer online, that would be helpful. I have only done one other cake with separated tiers, so I am not sure what I need to allow for the holders for the flowers in between.
Thanks in advance.

If you order the SPS, them get the multi-piece legs. That way you can choose whether you want the legs to be 5", 7" or 9". With a four inch tall tier, the airspace will be 1", 3" or 5". It mostly depends on how much the bride is spending onflowers to fill up that space. Flowers can easier reun several hundred dollars. Most of my brides don't want more than 3" of air space to fill.
SPS plate are the same size as the cake, or possibly one size larger for a cake with separations.. (A 7" plate for a 6" tier, for example.)
