i was asked to make a cake in the shape of the number 3 with a race track on top of it.. really cute design i came up with... my question is they want it to feed 40 people at least... i found this image online on how to piece together a "3" cake and i have the wilton 10in ring pan that i thought i could use... does anyone have any idea how much this would feed if i use this pan the way the image shows?? or how i could get 40 servings out of a 3?

according to http://www.earlenescakes.com/ckserchart.htm the ring feeds 30 people. You are using 2 rings (60 servings) but taking 1/2 of them out. So I say you should sit right at 30 servings.
