Indydebi's buttercream recipe tomorrow night....I'm a canadian gal so from what I can figure is that 2lbs of powdered sugar would be about 7 cups?? Does that sound correct? Sorry for the dumb question!

Closer to 4 cups per pound. But you can add powdered sugar until you think it is 'right' for your use.

I find a pound to be a little closer to 3 1/2 cups.

I'm in Ontario. When I use indydebi's recipe, I use 8 cups of ps.

OMG I just made the icing and all I can say is YUMMMM!! Its absolutely delicious!! I went with the 8 cups of icing sugar but had to use 1/2 c milk plus probably another tsp!! Its sooo smooth! I can't wait to share it!! Thanks again!
