My dad's retiring after 35 years of teaching. we're having a small dinner and i'd like to do cookies as favors

any ideas for teacher themed cookies? The mascot of his school is an Indian, so i thought that would be tough.

I've been recently doing my sugar cookies with mmf and am somewhat new to it, so it can't be anything overly elaborate.

You could do the standard teacher cookies-apples, pencils. books. etc...
What did he teach? Maybe something along that line?
Does he have any hobbies or interests that could be incorporated somehow?
