Smoothing The Edge Of Fondant Square Cake

How do you smooth the edge of fondant square cakes? What is the best tool to use? will a regualr Fondant smoother do the trick. I see some expenisve tools on sugar craft website for 36.99 that is a bit to pricey for me for right now.

Naw, don't waste your money on those things save your money for flowers formers and cutters etc........use fondant smoothers on the top and then on the corners I use two at a time so I never leave fingerprints..........if you are patient and work methodically you should be able to get it without too many issues.
