Anyone ever seen a cake with musical notes on it?? My friend who needs a cake for her 1 yr old little girl's party (first wanted a bubble cake, then a "bluegrass music cake with a dancing girl" theme) wants just music theme and the colors pink & black. AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!! Good thing it's not till the end of the month!!! lol

I figured I'd just do a stacked with 10' and 6'....then ice both pink with black borders....but I don't know where to start with the decorations...maybe just musical notes in black fondant? HELP!!! lol

In the current issue of ACD there is a beautiful cake that just happens to have musical notes, a ribbon and beautful bow! I'm sure it can be adapted to fit her "current" needs!

This probably isn't what you're going for, but it might help you think of some stuff. This is one I did for a good friend last week.

I bought musical notes and instruments for doing chocolate molds and used them for this cake. I didn't put the musical notes on because I didn't have enough room.

Well that is a wonderful cake and I am sure she loved it, how cool is that! It looks perfect for an 11 year old, you did a wonderful job! I use the molds a lot too, for candy and for fondant items. They come out well every time and are available in just about any theme! Perfect job!
