Delivered a 3 tier wedding cake today 12/9/6 some how the 12 " slipped during driving, venue was 12 min from the shop. I opened the hatch and there it was bottom tier smashed top 2 were still fine we drove back to the shop and put a 12" dummy on the bottom and quickly made 2 9" rd that were in the freezer added fillings and covered in fondant to use as the extra servings took 30 min then we delivered again. Cake looks great like nothing happened now I'l l have to contact the bride and see what happens hoping she's not to upset.

Sounds like you did a good job recovering from the mishap. Good luck with the bride.
