I'm wondering if anyone has tips for making a doll cake without using the wonder mold pan? My daughter is having a Cinderella party and I have not been able to locate a wonder mold pan anywhere locally. I have some ideas on how I can make it work, but am wondering if anyone has some tips that I haven't thought of yet. TIA!

I have seen people use the pirex mixing bowl and you couls also use round cake pans two differnet sizes tacked and carved.

You could use a stainless steel mixxing bowl, and then one or 2 8 or p inch layers under that to get the right height.

You could also use one 6 inch, 8, and 9 inch layer to get the right height, and then trim it down to the right shape.

I did one last week using two 8" rounds, a 6" and a 4".
