Bueno yo una vez hice un ponqué de limón y lo que hice fue añadirle sabor a limón, igualmente al syrup para bañarlo.

Pound Cake de Piña

2 barras de mantequilla
1/2 taza de manteca vegetal
2 3/4 taza de azúcar
6 huevos grandes
3 tazas de harina cernida
1 1/4 taza piña triturada, sin colar
1 cdta. polvo de hornear
3 cdta. de vainilla
1 cdta. sabor de mantequilla
1 1/2 cdta. sabor de piña
Color vegetal amarillo (use cantidad deseada)

Creme la manteca vegetal, la mantequilla y el azúcar. Añadir los huevos, uno a la vez, bata bien después de echar cada huevo. Cierna la harina con el polvo de hornear; Agregue la harina alternando con la piña con su jugo. Añadir sabores y el color vegetal. Vierta la mezcla en un molde de tubo engrasado o Bundt pan.
Coloque el molde en el horno frío (sin precalentar); encienda el horno a 350 grados durante aproximadamente 1 1/2 hora. Saque del horno,desmolde y deje enfriar por 10 minutos.

NOTA: Para obtener los mejores resultados, verter el Topping caliente, encima del pound cake cuando se retire de la estufa.


Topping:


1 taza de piña triturada
1 1/2 taza de azúcar en polvo
1/4 taza de mantequilla

En una cacerola se ponen a hervir los ingredientes, cuando hierva, se pone a fuego lento por 3 a 4 minutos. Verter encima del pound cake.






Pineapple Pound Cake
"A pound cake made with pineapple and glazed with pineapple sauce. Unlike most cakes, you will not preheat the oven on this one."

INGREDIENTS
â¢1/2 cup shortening
â¢1 cup butter
â¢1 3/4 cups white sugar
â¢6 eggs
â¢3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
â¢1 teaspoon baking powder
â¢1/4 cup milk
â¢1 teaspoon vanilla extract
â¢3/4 cup crushed pineapple with juice
â¢1/4 cup butter
â¢1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
â¢1 cup crushed pineapple, drained

DIRECTIONS
1.Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan. Sift together the flour, and baking powder. Set aside.
2.In a large bowl, cream together the shortening, 1 cup butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla. Add the flour mixture alternately with milk; beat well. Stir in the 3/4 cup crushed pineapple.
3.Pour into 10 inch tube pan. Place in cold oven. Turn oven to 325 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for 90 minutes or until top springs back when touched. Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes. Remove carefully from pan.
4.To make the glaze: In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup butter, confectioners sugar and 1 cup crushed pineapple. heat and stir until melted. Pour over cake as soon as it comes out of the pan.



Pineapple Pound Cake

INGREDIENTS:
1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained, divided
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1 cup butter or margarine (2 sticks)
2 cups granulated sugar
6 large eggs
3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
PREPARATION:
Put 3/4 cup of undrained pineapple with its juice in a small bowl; set aside. Drain remaining pineapple and measure 1 cup of drained crushed pineapple; set aside.
Cream shortening, butter, and sugar.


Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Sift flour and baking powder together; add to creamed mixture, 1 large spoonful at a time, alternately with milk. Add vanilla; stir in 3/4 cup undrained pineapple with juice and blend well. Pour batter into a well greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Place in cold oven. Turn oven to 325° and bake for 1 1/2 hours, or until top springs back when touched lightly with finger. Let pineapple pound cake stand for few minutes in pan. Run knife around edges to loosen and remove pineapple cake carefully to a rack. Combine butter, confectioners' sugar, and about 1 cup drained pineapple. Pour pineapple sauce over cake while still hot.



PINEAPPLE POUND CAKE

1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. shortening
2 3/4 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk
3/4 c. pineapple (don't drain)

Mix as you would any other pound cake. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

Hola chicas, estoy buscando una buena receta de un ponque de piña. Busqué en el área de recetas y lo único que encuentro son recetas de piña colada.

Encontré este link donde Azuca pone unas cuantas recetas de pound cake de piña pero yo realmente quisiera un ponque de piña.

Yo lo he tratado con jugo de pina y queda rico el mejor jugo es el lotus. aqui casi no se encuentra siempre que voy a puertorico me traigovarias latitas pequenas.
