My sister is turning 34 and wants a diva party in black and hot pink. But she want a strawberry shortcake. Any suggestions on how to decorate it?

Well, You could just make your shortcake in rounds, fill with strawberry filling, and ice in a creamy whipped icing.

I use fondant mostly, but there are some awesome BC cakes out there in pink/black. Why dont you go to the photo gallery and look up pink cakes, and use those as inspiration? I mean you can do tons of things, stripes in pink and black, polka dots in pink and black, paisley print, diamonds. I have a pink and black with feathers and a crown in my photos, feel free to check it out.

I checked out ur cakes and they are really great!
When my sister said strawberry shortcake I automatically thought layers of cake w/ strawberries and whipped cream. But looking at your pictures has my creative juices flowing. Thanks!
